Five minutes is all it will take...I promise (maybe)

I'm a self-admitted news junkie. I'm interested, and even riveted at times, by world happenings. These are things that don't go together so well when you are reading the wholly American news outlets. I'm making generalizations here, but we, as a country, live in a bubble. So, that said, I'm going to start posting some news stories with some short commentary on them, so hopefully you will at least find yourself more aware of the situations that face the world around you. Maybe you'll even find them interesting :)
